The Afghanistan war. It says that most old people think Afghanistan is going to end up like Vietnam. Younger people don’t agree, because they’ve only seen Afghanistan through books and photos, but the older people have a “sense of dejavu”and think Afghanistan is going to end up like Vietnam. And they strongly oppose to the war.Obama has been struggling for weeks to help Afghanistan and hasn’t decided whether to send more troops or not. I think this article is important because it shows how war can impact a country and how they will help each other in time of need.
